At The Eton Academy, our Primary 1 Chinese programme is specially designed to give young learners the strong start they need. Carefully aligned with the MOE syllabus, our programme builds essential skills in listening, speaking, writing, and reading, while nurturing fluency, confidence, and academic readiness.

Our Primary 1 Chinese curriculum is thoughtfully aligned with Singapore's MOE syllabus《欢乐伙伴》and nurtures your child's skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This foundational module is based on Singapore's Happy Companions Chinese textbook and focuses on character recognition, writing, pinyin, radicals, strokes, and sentence construction. Through interactive hands-on learning and games, children build strong language fundamentals in a fun and engaging way. 

Speaking and Reading Corner

Through picture-based speaking practice and real-life scenarios (e.g., school, playground, library), children expand their vocabulary and develop confidence in expressing themselves in Chinese. Reading practice featuring rhymes and short stories further strengthen word recognition and language sense, while introducing useful phrases in meaningful contexts.
